The Prayer Blanket

is a point of contact between you, the Prayer Team, and God. There is no power in the blanket itself. It is the anointing after the blanket is prayed over that carries the power of God.

John 14:16  God said He would send the Comforter. A blanket is also called a comforter. Our prayer is that people will feel the presence of the Great Comforter when wrapped in the Prayer Blanket.

Matt. 9:28-29 Do you believe that I am able to do this? Jesus touched them. According to your faith let it be so.

Luke 18:27  The things impossible with men are possible with God.

THINK ON THOSE THINGS THAT ARE TRUE
PHILIPPIANS 4:8


Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

 

This does not say “think on those things that we THINK to be true.”

 

It is our own attitude and actions that we have to answer for. Since we will never know the “truth” in some wordly matters, we will need to dwell only on what we KNOW to be true.  If all that we know to be an absolute truth is “Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior” then think on that.

 

Though we want to say "why isn’t anyone else changing their attitudes?"  the scripture says that God will deal with them because it is not our job. 

 

Our happiness, our peace, our spiritual growth depends on our acceptance of Jesus Christ in our lives.  We want to make sure others know that we know and they are not getting by with anything, but God says this is not our job either.

 

So what? We cannot change a thing, we can only change if we want to continue to be miserable or if we are willing to let the situations continue on their part and allow God to deal with it. We already know we cannot change a thing in ourself.

 

Do NOT let hurt feelings rule you. 

 

If we let those offences have a place in us, then they also rule us. They overwhelm and over take.  Does not matter if they are true or imagination, do not allow feelings, bitterness to rule you.

 

If it is just you and God, then how awesome is that.  Study His Word and allow the Holy Spirit to teach you the things of our Father.
